Bill Zimmerman

Bill Zimmerman is Foxfire Realty’s #1 land man with decades of experience.  Bill has been a licensed real estate agent for many years and is a licensed auctioneer in West Virginia and Virginia.  Bill grew up in Greenbrier County, and began his career in the construction trade soon after graduating from Greenbrier East High School.  He has owned and operated Zimmerman General Construction for more than 30 years.  Bill is also a farmer.  He raises cattle, keeps bees for honey, and maintains a Sugar Shack for the production of maple syrup.  He also has experience with logging and is a broker and miller of vintage reclaimed lumber.

Bill has volunteered his time and construction expertise in building churches in Appalachia, as well as schools and churches abroad in Africa and Cuba, and is active in disaster relief efforts in West Virginia and other states.  Bill and his wife, Anita, reside on their farm in Organ Cave, West Virginia.  Bill and Anita have been married for 45 years, and have two daughters, Jessica and Kimberly, and five grandchildren.
