Welcome to the Resource Management section.  Our first two sections are Forestland Management and Wildlife Management.

Growing West Virginia’s high quality timber is a family tradition. Brothers and sisters, fathers and sons, even grandfathers and grandsons. Every effort should be made during your timber harvest to protect smaller trees so the next generation may continue the tradition.

Mother Nature does a great job of Wildlife Management. However, property owners can easily improve their wildlife habitat with a little thought and study. Enhancing wildlife habitat brings more frequent viewing opportunities, increased numbers of established species and can attract species that are not presently members of the wildlife population. FOODWATER and COVER are basics necessities that all living beings need. Let us now take a look at some ways to improve upon these necessities.
