Wall Farm#3 (64)I am very pleased to write about my experience of selling my farm. It was a pleasure to work with you. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner since the sale, but the process has been warm in my memory.

As you know, I was focused on preparing the farm for viewing, then preparing for moving over several months. Then, after the closing, I spent some time catching up with my friends and family and did some travel, again for some months.

I am finally getting settled in a very nice rental home, just around the corner from my son and his lively family of three school age girls and lovely wife. Now I finally have a moment to write to you with my reflections. It has been a pleasant transition, but certainly I miss my land and my sky and the animals of the farm. I know that you know that!

It is probably obvious that I am writing to you as friends, since that is what we became through the process of selling the farm. Most people would be surprised that the sometimes wrenching process of parting with a beloved homeplace could result in trust and understanding, but that is the way I would characterize my reaction. Your shepherding of the financial, legal, emotional and logistical process of selling was done in a most kindly manner and I thank you for that.

You were highly recommended to me and I also would certainly encourage anyone to select you as broker for their real estate transactions. You handled every delicate decision that came up with wisdom and empathy. This must have taken some broad vision and patience on your part. I am very appreciative of your guidance.

I am looking forward to visiting with you on my next trip to Monroe County in September.

Sincerely,

Krysten Wall
